K-1 Prospects Invade 2.19 “Krush”

K-1 has announced that eight up-and-coming Team Dragon fighters will take part at “Krush-EX ~ New Generation Fight”, February 19th, 2010 from Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo. The concept of the competition will be the development of new stars with fighters in the group ranging from the age of 17-20 years old. Five of the fighters, Norifumi Kitani, Ryosuke Sasaki, Daizo Sasaki, Hirotaka Urabe and Koya Urabe have all participated in the K-1 Koshien (Youth) tournaments. The most notable of the bunch would be Koya Urabe, who’s only loss in five matches came to HIROYA (14-2) at Dynamite 2008!! in the Koshien Tournament Finals.

The “Krush” organization has become a feeder for K-1 MAX, holding numerous tournaments for qualification and helping to build up fighters.
